Russian Geran-4 strikes Ukrainian logistics hubs

Bottom line

Russian MoD claims Geran-4 loitering munitions struck logistics centers in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk, while Ukrainian sources confirm significant fires in Sumy from Geran strikes.

Why it matters

The continued use of Geran-4 variants against Ukrainian logistics and drone storage indicates a sustained Russian effort to degrade Ukrainian deep-strike capabilities and supply chains, requiring NATO allies to monitor Russian production and deployment rates.

Russian military sources claim that Geran-4 loitering munitions successfully destroyed a Nova Poshta logistics center in Odesa and a Ukrainian drone warehouse in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Concurrently, Russian MoD reports indicate Geran-2 drones hit UAV storage sites in Dmytrivka and Dobropillya, as well as ammo depots near Novonikolayevka. Ukrainian sources corroborate the intensity of Russian drone activity, with Victory Drones reporting significant fires in Sumy following a mass Geran strike. These claims follow earlier reports of Russian Geran-4 deployments targeting Ukrainian logistics hubs.
