Why it matters

Indicates Russian targeting of Ukrainian defense industrial base and production capabilities.

The Russian MoD claimed strikes on Ukrainian defense firms Fire Point (producing Flamingo rocket components) and UkrDefense (producing drone components and interceptors ‘Khrushch’/‘Garpia’), as well as the Kremenchuk oil refinery and Krivoy Rog metallurgy plant using missiles and drones.
