WIY Drones is a Ukrainian manufacturer of interceptor, reconnaissance, and strike unmanned systems that emerged during the full-scale war. Its STRILA drone — the name means “arrow” — is a rocket-boosted interceptor built to chase down Shahed-type attack drones at speeds approaching 350 km/h, using daytime and thermal cameras with automatic target acquisition; a companion system, BUREWIY, goes after the slower Russian reconnaissance drones such as the Orlan and Zala.

In March 2026 Germany’s Quantum Systems took a strategic stake in the company to fund the delivery of 15,000 STRILA interceptors to Ukraine’s National Guard, and the STRILA was among the seven joint-venture systems shown to President Zelensky and Chancellor Merz in Berlin that spring. The company’s quoted performance figures are its own, and its headquarters and leadership are not publicly confirmed.
