TAF Industries is a Ukrainian defense technology company founded in 2022 by Oleksandr Yakovenko. Headquartered in Kyiv, the firm specializes in the design and production of First-Person View (FPV) drones, electronic warfare systems, and unmanned ground vehicles. The company operates as a scale-up within Ukraine’s drone ecosystem, having grown from a small development team into a major supplier for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Volodymyr Zinovskyi serves as the chief executive officer, overseeing the company’s rapid expansion and production scaling.

The company’s product portfolio is anchored by the Kolibri family of FPV strike drones, which are available in 7, 8, and 10-inch configurations. These systems offer operational ranges of 12 to 14 kilometers and flight times of up to 15 minutes, with payload capacities between 1.5 and 2.4 kilograms. The Lehit S1 variant carries approximately 35 kilograms, while the L1 variant supports loads up to 150 kilograms. Mass production of the Lehit was launched in May 2026. The company also offers the Octopus-100 interceptor drone and Kvazar electronic warfare systems for portable and dome-based applications.

TAF Industries’ systems are widely deployed by Ukrainian military units and defense brigades. The company lists numerous brigades, including the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, as partners. In June 2026, TAF Industries signed a letter of intent with Polish state-owned PGZ to collaborate on drone production, signaling an expansion of its export and manufacturing footprint into NATO markets.

The company reports a production capacity of over 80,000 drones per month across more than 20 production locations. It employs over 600 specialists and provides 24/7 technical support to military units. TAF Industries has attracted significant attention from international media and defense observers for its high-volume manufacturing model and its integration of AI-targeting capabilities into its drone systems.
