Robotican
Autonomous robotic systems including drone interceptors and hybrid ground-and-air robots.
Robotican, founded in 2013 by three Ben-Gurion University engineers and based in Omer near Be’er Sheva, develops fully autonomous robots and drones for defence and security. Its Goshawk interceptor detects an incoming drone, launches a pursuing drone, calculates an intercept, and captures the target in a net — a sequence the system runs without human input — and the company reports it has intercepted more than 250 drones in service with the IDF and Israeli emergency services.
It also fields the combat-proven Rooster, a hybrid platform that combines rolling and flying mobility to scout confined and underground spaces.
