M-Fly
EW-resistant semi-active laser guidance and stabilised gimbals for drones and munitions.
M-Fly is a Kyiv defence-tech startup that grew out of volunteer front-line trips in 2023 and now builds semi-active laser guidance systems and stabilised camera gimbals for drones and munitions. Its guidance kit pairs a laser designator, which marks the target, with a seeker that homes on the reflected spot — giving terminal guidance that does not depend on a radio link to the operator and is therefore resistant to the jamming that dominates the front.
Alongside the guidance system the company makes gyro-stabilised electro-optical and infrared gimbals with AI-assisted stabilisation and automatic target tracking, intended to hold a clear picture at speed and in poor weather. M-Fly has drawn backing from SID Venture Partners and Ukraine’s BRAVE1 defence-innovation fund, which awarded it a further $1.4 million in late 2025. Vendor performance figures such as its quoted hit rate are company claims and are not independently verified.
