Taganrog maker of the Molniya cheap fixed-wing strike drones, according to Ukrainian research.
Atlant Aero LLC, in Taganrog in Russia’s Rostov Oblast, is named by the Kyiv Independent, citing research by Ukraine’s Center for Defense Strategies, as the maker of the Molniya-2 — the cheap fixed-wing strike drone Russian units fly against Ukrainian positions and vehicles. The same research found that most companies in the drone’s supply chain were not under sanctions.
Ukraine’s General Staff said in April 2026 that it had struck a Taganrog plant making Molniya drones, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda. A Russian outlet reporting a Russian defence-ministry release has named the company Kronstadt instead; the attribution to Atlant Aero rests on Ukrainian research.
